SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Michael Carter-Williams has exceeded expectations as the starting point guard for the Orange basketball team this year. The sophomore is leading the nation in assists.
Carter-Williams has narrowly missed a triple-double his past two games, but has also averaged six turnovers a game in that span. Head coach Jim Boeheim says he expects his young point guard to make some mistakes, and he sees improvement every game.
