ROCHESTER, N.Y. - In full desperation mode to make the playoffs, the Syracuse Silver Knights got the job done on Saturday with a 17-15 overtime victory at rival Rochester.
Andriy Budnyy scored off a restart with 12 seconds left in regulation to force the extra period and Kenardo Forbes scored the game-winner 5:17 into overtime. The win gives Syracuse a five-game season sweep of the Lancers.
The Silver Knights' next game is Friday at home against Wichita.
