VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) - Zarko Valjarevic scored 25 points and Maine beat Binghamton 64-60 Saturday night.

The Black Bears (11-15, 6-7 America East Conference) won their third straight thanks to Valjarevic and Alasdair Fraser, who posted a double-double (10 points, 11 rebounds). Justin Edwards also finished in double figures for Maine with 12 points.

Maine led 33-20 at halftime, but Binghamton (3-23, 1-12) rallied behind a monster performance by Jordan Reed. He scored 29 points and grabbed 17 rebounds - 10 offensive. But while Reed went 11 for 15 at the foul line, he needed 32 shots from the field to hit nine baskets.

Valjarevic, meanwhile, was 5 of 11 from the floor - all 3-pointers. He made 10 of 12 free throws.

Maine led throughout the second half. Binghamton got within 60-55 with 1:33 left, but two free throws each by Xavier Pollard and Valjarevic clinched it.
