ITHACA, N.Y. - Trailing 20-17 at halftime, Colgate outscored Cornell 24-0 in the second half on Saturday to earn its first win of the year 41-20.
The Raiders entered the game 0-4 for the first time since 1986, making this the perfect time to face Cornell as they have now won 15 of the last 17 meetings. Colgate hopes the victory will spark a turnaround similar to last year when it started 1-3 then won its next seven games to make the NCAA playoffs.
CORTLAND, N.Y. - Locked in a 7-7 tie after three quaters, SUNY Cortland scored 10 points in the fourth to beat Kean 17-7.
The Red Dragons have now won 16 of their 18 matchups with Kean.
UTICA, N.Y. - Utica College's struggles against Salisbury continued on Saturday as the Seagulls shut out the Pioneers 34-0.
