At least six people were killed and more than six million people are without power, after Hurricane Wilma ripped through the Sunshine State. Officials said it could take weeks to get all the power back on.
Homes and buildings were damaged, and trees were knocked down in Florida. Officials said damage estimates are as high as $9 billion.
Experts said that Wilma is the most damaging storm to hit Fort Lauderdale in 50 years. The storm has moved back out into the Atlantic, but meteorologists are keeping a close eye on it to see if it will move back onto the East Coast.
