Playoff tributes planned for fallen Phoenix Firebird

Section III football teams will wear helmet stickers with the initials "RB" on them for the rest of the season in tribute to Ridge Barden, the Phoenix player who died from a head injury sustained in a game last Friday night.

The playoff brackets for Section III football were unveiled on Sunday, and each class has at least one undefeated team at the top. The brackets will be updated through the championships at the Carrier Dome on Time Warner Cable Sports' website, twcs.tv.

West Genesee wins wild game in final seconds at Baldwinsville
