Training: Week 13: Trying to stay moving with a busy schedule

I took the weekend off because I worked on Saturday, and then Sunday, I just wanted to relax. Today, I'm still not feeling completely motivated, but my boyfriend and I decide to go for a walk around the big lake at Green Lakes. It's about two miles, and it took us about 45 minutes to walk it. I figure at least I'm getting out and getting active.

The worst part about the walk is I nearly step on three different snakes! I hate snakes. But they did make me want to run a bit faster.

I get an inhaler from the doctor today, which seems to be helping the issue of my lungs feeling full and making my workout more painful than anticipated.

Since the doctor's is near the gym, I decide to pop over for a little. I walk and run on the treadmill for about 20 minutes. I run into a friend at the gym, and she shows me some strength training moves. So I do weight training with her for about 25 minutes or more.

I haven't been into the gym at all the rest of this week because I'm out of town for a health journalism conference. Our schedule is really packed, and I don't have time to workout.
