Training Week 6: Sharon BuMann
Well, my focus has been on the swim. I have been to the pool almost every day (training my self to use the water, GO Slow. and BREATHE). I did a "real" Open water swim in my new wet suit. It was windy and the waves were rolling in 6-8" over head. I did what I thought to be next to impossible, I swam to the buoy and back. Lots of breaks, and the suit makes you feel like a bobber in the water. I felt 12 again, and did not want to get out!
Running is going well.
The biking is still my favorite, I really look forward to each and every ride... part of being an "Old Hippy" (look at the flowers, and the trees and those little critters!)
