Knapp ties Section III record, Tully downs Lafayette
VVS boys basketball coach Al Knapp recorded his 520th career win Friday night, a 52-36 victory over rival New Hartford. The win ties him for the most victories ever in Section III. Knapp and the Red Devils travel to Whitesboro on Tuesday where Knapp will try to take the record for himself.
Elsewhere in high school basketball, the Tully boys basketball team beat its arch rival from Lafayette on Friday night. The Black Knights won 59-48.
