Participants practice at En-Joie Golf Course
ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- The Champions Tour is in Endicott this weekend for the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. On Tuesday, the participants got a chance to practice on the En-Joie Golf Course.

This is the third year for the event and the participants say they're thrilled to be back.

β€œIt's a small town feel and it's a real community feel, which I like. I don't like the big huge manufactured things. And that's what I've always liked about this tournament. So I've always looked forward to coming here because of that,” said Bob Gilder.

β€œI like the golf course and the people are great. I mean, the people here are great. They love their tournament. Ya know, from the B.C. days and now the Dick's. I just love supporting people that are so willing to support us. I'd definitely play here every year,” said Scott Simpson.

The event tees off at 9 a.m. this Friday.
