ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- The Champions Tour is in Endicott this weekend for the Dick's Sporting Goods Open. On Tuesday, the participants got a chance to practice on the En-Joie Golf Course.

This is the third year for the event and the participants say they're thrilled to be back.

“It's a small town feel and it's a real community feel, which I like. I don't like the big huge manufactured things. And that's what I've always liked about this tournament. So I've always looked forward to coming here because of that,” said Bob Gilder.

“I like the golf course and the people are great. I mean, the people here are great. They love their tournament. Ya know, from the B.C. days and now the Dick's. I just love supporting people that are so willing to support us. I'd definitely play here every year,” said Scott Simpson.

The event tees off at 9 a.m. this Friday.
