After spotting the Amerks a 3-nothing lead, the Syracuse Crunch rallied back to tie the game on a Nick Holden short-handed goal with less than 15 seconds remaining in regulation Friday night.
But red-hot Rochester got the game-winning goal in overtime to win their 9th straight game, 4-3, sending the Crunch to a disappointing loss.
The last-place Crunch return home to host the Norfolk Admirals at the Onondaga War Memorial Saturday night at 7:30 pm.
