SYRACUSE - Quarterbacks Greg Paulus and Cam Dantley and tight end Mike Owen took the first step in pursuing their NFL dreams on Thursday by working out for NFL scouts at Syracuse University's Pro Day at the Carrier Dome.

Cameras were not allowed into the Dome to tape the workouts, but scouts from 12-15 NFL teams were expected.

Defensive end Art Jones, who's projected as a potential first-round pick, did not work out as he's still recovering from knee surgery. He's planning on holding a personal workout day prior to the draft, which is April 22-24.
