LIVERPOOL, N.Y. - The Syracuse Chiefs kicked off their lead-up to the new season in a Major-League way Friday by inducting former star Carlos Delgado into their Wall of Fame at their annual Hot Stove Dinner in Liverpool.
Delgado, who hit 43 home runs with the then-SkyChiefs and 473 in the Majors with the Blue Jays, Marlins, and Mets, spoke to YNN's Brian Mueller about his memories of playing in Syracuse and his hopes to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
