HARTFORD, Conn. - The sixth-seeded Binghamton women's basketball team whittled an 18-point second-half deficit down to four but could get no closer as No. 2 UAlbany hung on for a 58-50 win in the America East tournament semifinals on Sunday.

Senior Andrea Holmes led BU (13-18) with 17 points in her final game, finishing third in program history with 1,557 points, and fellow senior Viive Rebane had 14 points and 14 rebounds, finishing 10th in points with 1,176 and second in rebounds with 916.
