SYRACUSE, N.Y. - Bryce Harper finally went deep for the first time in Triple-A and the Syracuse Chiefs managed to split a doubleheader with Buffalo on Sunday despite scoring only two runs combined.

Harper's home run came in the opener, Syracuse's 16th game, but it was the only run for the Chiefs in a 6-1 loss. Corey Brown hit a solo home run in the second game and Tanner Roark and Ryan Perry made it stand with Roark throwing six innings and Perry closing it out for a 1-0 victory which snapped a six-game losing streak.

Next up for Syracuse (4-13) is a three-game series at Rochester starting Tuesday. All three games will be televised on Time Warner Cable Sports.
