ITHACA, N.Y. - Tuesday's 12-6 victory by the Cornell men's lacrosse team over Syracuse showcased a lot of what the Big Red is doing right this season, and a lot of what the Orange is doing wrong.
Cornell dominated several statistical categories, including grabbing 39 ground balls to 23, winning 14 of 22 faceoffs, out-shooting SU 46-24, and converting three of five extra-man opportunities while the Orange only cashed in on one of four.
The Big Red has a big break before its next game, April 21 at home against Brown. Syracuse is back in action this Saturday, playing Rugers in Charlotte, N.C. as part of the ESPNU Warrior Classic.
