SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The season opener is getting closer and closer for the Orange football team, but the players say it's important not to let their excitement get the best of them. SU will play Northwestern in the season opener Saturday at noon in the dome.

The last time the Orange played the Wildcats was in 2009, when SU won a shootout 37-34.
