SYRACUSE, N.Y. - With a loaded roster and the experience gained from making it to last season's NCAA championship game, the Syracuse University women's lacrosse team has seen the possibilities during fall ball and can't wait for the upcoming season to start.

The Orange spent its fall practices mixing its returning veterans, which include Tewaaraton Trophy finalist Michelle Tumolo, with a freshman class ranked No. 1 by Inside Lacrosse. But head coach Gary Gait says the biggest boost for the team is its confidence after going 13-4 against ranked opponents last season, including a 7-2 mark against the top 10, and making the national final for the first time in program history.

The team wraps up the fall season this weekend with two road scrimmages.
