SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After averaging about 10 minutes per game in a reserve role as a freshman, Michael Carter-Williams has shot up to a starting spot as a sophomore for the Syracuse men's basketball team.
The Orange, ranked No. 9 in the preseason Associated Press poll unveiled on Friday, open exhibition play Thursday at the Carrier Dome against Pace.
