SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The "Battle on the Midway" will have to wait a few more days. Weather is postponing the season opening matchup between the Syracuse Orange and San Diego State basketball teams.

The teams were supposed to play on the aircraft carrier USS Midway this Friday. But with a high probability of rain and wind, organizers have pushed the game back a couple of days.

The Orange and the Aztecs will now face off Sunday at 4 p.m. Eastern time. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Net.
