Reward offered in kitten case
LYSANDER, N.Y. -- The SPCA is stepping up the investigation into who is abandoning kittens in Lysander. They are now offering a reward for information.

More than three dozen kittens have been found in the last two weeks at a barn in Lysander. Animal rescuers are taking care of the cats but they don't know where they are coming from.

SPCA officials said more than 200 kittens have been abandoned in that area in the last two years. They are offering a $500 for information leading to an arrest.

Anyone with that information is asked to call the SPCA cruelty investigators at (315) 454-3469.
