Boxing Hall of Fame Banquet of Champions
CENTRAL NEW YORK -- Boxing legends of the past and present gathered in Syracuse for the annual Boxing Hall of Fame Banquet of Champions. Saturday’s event was part of the weekend long induction ceremony that takes place in Canastota.
More than 50 fighters like Larry Holmes and Marvin Hagler are in town. Some of the events included lectures, a golf tournament and a 5K race.
Current fighters and retired legends say they are enjoying their time in Central New York.

"Canastota is a great town. I ran the 5K this morning, just running around the neighborhood. It's just unbelievable, I think I might want to move here," said Peter Manfredo.
"To me Canastota is like family. It's a thrill for me to come here and as long as I am around, I'll be here. It's a thrill for me," said Angelo Dundee.
The weekend long celebration wraps up Sunday with a parade through Canastota and the enshrinement at the hall of fame.
