Student loan Bill of Rights
OSWEGO, N.Y. – Representatives from Cuomo's office were in Oswego Tuesday to raise awareness about student loans.

Assistant Attorney General Carolyn Fast met with the Rotary Club to talk about an initiative Cuomo is working on to alert families about issues regarding the student loan industry. Fast unveiled a Student Bill of Rights they have come up with as a result of a year-long investigation into college loans.

"I actually have a daughter who's going to be attending college in the fall so it's very timely from my standpoint to have the attorney general here to speak about the student loan industry," said Bill Crist, Rotary Club President.

The event was one of a few events put on by Cuomo's staff on Tuesday. Cuomo will be in Watertown Tuesday night for a public forum.
