"The Fonz" comes to the fairgrounds
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A couple of guests at this weekend's Syracuse Nationals get big thumbs up. Television icon Henry Winkler is making an appearance. Winkler is best known for his role as "the Fonz" on "Happy Days".
Winkler has a long acting and writing career to his credit. He's joined by "Laverne and Shirley" star Cindy Williams. They are both at the Nationals all weekend signing autographs and posing for pictures.

"I get to meet all these wonderful people in Syracuse. I get to go places that I wouldn't normally come. I came here once before when I spoke at the University, and it's fantastic," said Winkler.
