Police release information on driver from 690 accident
GEDDES, NY -- We're learning more about the driver of the truck in Thursday’s crash on 690 in Lakeland.

Shawn Sanford does not currently face any charges, but he does have a history of driving violations. Police say the hydraulic lift on Sanford's truck was raised and hit a bridge above the highway.

A chunk of concrete fell onto an SUV traveling behind, sending seven people to the hospital, including four adults and three children.

Sanford's commercial driver's license was revoked for a year in 2006 after he was charged with driving while impaired. He was also convicted of disobeying a traffic device and backing unsafely, both in 2006.

The truck Sanford was driving is owned by Robinson Rolloff of Auburn. We placed a call to them, however, they had no comment.
