Tomato Festival in Auburn
AUBURN, N.Y. -- It's a day for people to enjoy tomatoes at the annual Tomato Festival in Auburn.
There were plenty of games, rides and crafts for the whole family as well as tomatoes.
Local farmers brought a variety of tomatoes and other foods for people to sample and buy.

Besides the food and fun, the Tomato Festival is helping others in need by donating its proceeds to eight different Central New York food pantries.
"Each year it seems that the needs out there are continuing to grow large, so it's just a good event to benefit the hungry in Cayuga County," said Co-President of the Tomato Fest Janice Sanders.
This is the 23rd year of the festival.
