Dome Days not just about football
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It wasn't all about football at the Carrier Dome Saturday night. Fifty volunteers from CXTec collected money and food donations for the Salvation Army.
It's called Dome Days, and for the 12th year in a row volunteers stood outside the Carrier Dome ringing their bells for a good cause. It's the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Salvation Army and it's growing every year.

"Each year we have more volunteers than we need sign up because our team feels how important it is to help others at this time of the year and particularly with the economy the way it is we feel even stronger this year that it's important to get a great early start for the salvation army,” said Barbara Ashkin, volunteer.
