District Attorney winner expected to be made official Tuesday
MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. - The winner of the Madison County District Attorney race is expected to be officially announced Tuesday.
Republican William Gabor and Democrat Jeffrey Aumell were separated by just over 1,000 votes on election night, with over 2,000 absentee ballots unaccounted for.

Unofficial tallies from the Madison County Board of Elections show Gabor will be the winner, with a lead of just over 1,000 votes.
The board of elections was waiting on military ballots to arrive on Monday to certify the numbers.
