ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Wine and sweets were sampled by all Saturday at the Central New York Wine and Chocolate Festival at the State Fairgrounds.

People enjoyed wine samples from a variety of Finger Lakes Wineries in addition to chocolate, cheeses and other gourmet delights. There were also spa services, fine jewelry and a free wine tasting seminar. Exhibitors use the festival as a way to showcase their products, especially during the holidays.

"We get to meet all kinds of people and you get to have a one on one conversation with them. You find out what they're looking for and what they like, and then we have the opportunity to promote ourselves and having that exposure is priceless,” said Mary Chappell, of the Sweet Endings Bakeshop.

All festival goers got to leave with a free wine glass.
