Hearing today on Tobacco 19 law
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A public hearing is scheduled for today on the recently passed Tobacco 19 law.
The law would forbid stores from selling tobacco to people under the age of 19 unless they were in military service.
The Onondaga County Legislature passed the law earlier this month with a 14 to 5 majority making it veto-proof.
