Massa takes fuel cell car to Washington, D.C.
CORNING, N.Y. -- Eric Massa is headed to Washington D.C. on Monday for his swearing in ceremony and he'll arrive there in an eco-friendly car.
The congressman-elect left from the Southeast Steuben County Library in Corning at 9 a.m. Monday and is taking two GM hydrogen fuel cell cars to the capital building. The energy efficient vehicles were made at GM's development plant in Honeoye Falls, which is in the 29th district.

Massa says he's committed to building and sustaining the domestic car industry that makes up three million jobs here in the U.S.
"I wanted to highlight the strengths that we have right here in Upstate New York to build the new industries and the new jobs we're going to need in the future," said Massa.
Massa will officially be sworn in Tuesday.
