Two injured in motorcycle crash
POTTER COUNTY, P.A. -- A motorcycle crash in Potter County Pennsylvania injures two people. It happened in Portage Township on Route 872 near Portage Road.
State Police say Jeffrey Streigel was driving going too fast and lost control of the bike. The motorcycle hit the guide rails and continued on more than a hundred feet before stopping.
Police say the Streigel and his passenger, Patricia Fields left the scene of the crash. They were found a short time later.
Streigel was taken to the hospital with what police describe as major injuries. They say he was not wearing a helmet.
Streigel was charged with multiple traffic violations and DUI.
The passenger refused treatment.
