Let the Oz-Stravaganza begin
CHITTENANGO, N.Y. -- Oz-Stravaganza kicks off in Chittenango today. This year marks the 100th anniversary of L. Frank Baum's book the "Road to Oz” and the 70th anniversary of the MGM classic film the "Wizard of Oz."
Members of the original cast will be in attendance. Oz-Stravaganza gives them the chance to interact with the public and share their favorite or not so favorite memories.

Oz-Stravaganza runs through Sunday, with events including hot air balloon rides, the Oz-Stravaganza 2009 parade and the second annual Emerald City Idol.
