Fire damages Johnson City hotel
JOHNSON CITY N.Y. -- A fire in Johnson City gutted the top floor of Red's Kettle Inn Saturday night. Officials say police first responded to a call at 93 CFJ Boulevard around 10:30 p.m. and were told that one person was trapped on the top floor.
They searched and later learned that the person had escaped through a side door on their own. Fire officials say the fire may have been electrical. They are still investigating.
