ILION, NY -- Police in Ilion are investigating an accident between a car and a bicycle that sent a woman to the hospital.

Police say it happened Friday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. along Old East Main St.

They say 69-year-old Barbara McGraw was making a left turn onto Old East Main St. when she hit a bike ridden by 23-year-old Raelyn Whitten.

Whitten was taken to University Hospital with multiple fractures and cuts.

No tickets have been issued yet.
