CANASTOTA, N.Y. -- A motorcyclist has died after his bike collided with a pickup truck in Canastota. Police say the crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 13 and North Peterboro Street.

Kenneth Mathias, 36, of Minoa, was driving his pickup truck northbound. As he made a left hand turn, he collided with a bike.

Ronald Nicholson, 61, was riding the bike. He was taken to Oneida Health Care where he later died. A passenger was also injured. She is being treated at University Hospital.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the crash.
