SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It's something parents probably don't want to think about, but sexuality is increasingly becoming a big part of adolescence and that's why a group called Real Life, Real Talk wants parents to talk to their kids about sex.

Real Life, Real Talk is a coalition of groups originally organized by Planned Parenthood to help young people be sexually healthy and responsible. The group's main goal is to get parents to talk to their children about sexuality because they say teens want to learn the truth about the subject from their parents.

"Kids care about what their parents think about their choices around sexuality and they want to know they're going the right now. Kids just don't want to be judged by their parents and they don't want the conversation to be too awkward," said Real Life, Real Talk Manager Crystal Collette.

If you want tips on how to talk to your kids about the subject of sex, there are seminars available. Just visit www.realliferealtalk.org for the group's website.
