SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Crunch are getting an assist from Dunkin Donuts as they promote their upcoming outdoor hockey game against the Binghamton Senators.

Crunch players will be making appearances at Dunkin Donuts locations around Central New York leading up to the game at the New York State Fairgrounds, which is scheduled for February 20th. Dunkin Donuts will also be giving away a free four-pack of tickets at the appearances.

Players say they're ready to make history with the first outdoor AHL game, especially after getting to check out the rink for the first time.

"I think that sort of got the ball rolling for the guys. They got to see that, with hopefully a really good crowd it's going to be, that it's going to be a once in a lifetime event and a pretty exciting time for everybody," said Syracuse Crunch Captain Derek MacKenzie.

Dunkin Donuts will also be offering discounted tickets for active military members and a $2 discount voucher for all customers.
