PAINTED POST, N.Y. -- A judge has ruled in favor of Dresser-Rand's union after they filed charges against the company following a strike at the Painted Post plant in 2007.
The National Labor Relations Board ordered Dresser-Rand to reinstate an employee who was discharged, along with one who was suspended, and repay them any loss of earnings or benefits with interest. hey also have to re-hire any employees not called back after the strike and extend them the same repayment.
The company must reinstate lost vacation benefits workers had accrued before the strike and was ordered to not give preferential treatment to any workers who cross picket lines.
