HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police are looking for a vehicle that was involved in a deadly hit and run on the Thruway. They say 21-year old Jamie Klemczak, who is from Albany but going to school at Syracuse University, got into a minor accident in Herkimer County around 4:30 Saturday morning. She was trying to cross the westbound highway when she was struck and killed.

The driver who hit her did not stop. Now police are asking for the public's help. They say the car could be a silver Toyota, but they do not know the make or model. The vehicle should have front-end damage to the driver's side.
