ELMIRA, N.Y. -- The man charged in the stabbing death outside of an Elmira bar earlier this year appeared in Chemung County Court Wednesday.
William Jordan, 34, of New York City, has been charged with second degree murder. Police say he used an ice pick type weapon to fatally stab Robert Pritchett, 40, of Elmira, back on January 9th. The incident took place outside of the Inferno Bar on College Avenue.
Jordan's bail was set Wednesday at one million dollars bond. He is scheduled to appear in court again July 23rd.
