POTSDAM, N.Y. -- A St. Lawrence County man has died after a crash in Potsdam. The Sheriff's office believes it happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday, but no one found the victim until Friday morning.
The Sheriff's office says Jonathan Burkett, 21, of Norwood, flipped his pickup truck on Needham Street, hitting trees and rocks. Burkett's family hadn't heard from him and had started searching. The truck wasn't located until after 9 a.m. Friday.
Burkett was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators are still looking into what caused the crash.
