SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is listed in critical condition after being shocked.

Police say Donald Sweeney was working with a power floor sander at a house on Lillian Avenue in Eastwood when he was shocked. Sweeney was unconscious when Syracuse Police arrived. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital.

The cause of the shock is still under investigation.
