CICERO, N.Y. -- You can add Cicero to the list of towns looking at an increase in property taxes next year. The town held the last of its public workshops on the budget Wednesday.

The tentative budget for 2011 calls for a nearly seven percent property tax increase, a wage freeze for town board members an increase in part time police officers and the closure of a local beach. It also recommends using $386,000 from the fund balance.

Board members have until Friday to complete the budget and will then hold another public hearing on October 27th.
