ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- Three days of deliberations and still no verdict in the trial of a North Country man accused of killing his neighbor. Wayne Oxley is accused of beating Bernard Trickey Jr. to death back in 2005. Oxley was originally convicted of the murder, but it was overturned last year.
Jurors received the case Monday and have stayed late into the evening for the past three nights. Most of Wednesday was spent listening to read backs of testimony from Oxley and other witnesses who took the stand. Jurors will resume deliberations Thursday morning.
