UNITED STATES -- As is the norm this time of year, a friendly wager is now in place between the mayors of Syracuse and Manhattan, Kansas as we close in on the next week's Pinstripe Bowl matchup against Kansas State. The loser will send some of the city's finest meat and beer across the country to the winning mayor.

Should SU lose, Mayor Stephanie Miner will ship out some Syracuse Pale Ale from the Middle Ages Brewing Company, along with a case of Liehs and Steigerwald sausage.

A loss by Kansas State means Miner will be getting Hickory Smoked Ribs from Cox Brothers Bar-b-que and beer from the Tall Grass Brewing Company.
