ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- All of the lawsuits against the Jordan-Elbridge School District are now resolved.
A judge ordered the district to re-hire treasurer Anthony Scro with full pay and benefits. He also ordered members of the school board to complete training with the state committee after violating the open meeting law at least three times.
The district has struggled over the past few months with disputes over resignations and terminations of several key employees. Tempers flared up during a public comment period at Wednesday night's board meeting and former principal David Zehner was escorted out of the building. Officials say Zehner and former assistant superintendent of business and finance Bill Hamilton are still suspended without pay.
