ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Just a few months after his loss to Republican Ann Marie Buerkle, former Congressman Dan Maffei tells supporters he's "strongly considering" another run in the 25th District.
Maffei lost a close race to Buerkle in November, falling short by 648 votes.
In the letter sent out Friday, Maffei says he has been working at a private sector think tank that advances policy ideas on economic growth and clean energy.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee has listed Buerkle as one of the 25 most vulnerable GOP house members in the 2012 election.
