Liverpool crash claims the lives of woman and her unborn child
A Cicero family is trying to cope after a deadly car crash Friday morning in Liverpool. As YNN's Erin Clarke tells us, the crash claimed the lives of two.

LIVERPOOL, N.Y. -- At the Saddle Club Town Homes in Liverpool, there were signs of a life cut short. Twenty-three-year-old Debra Brown died early Friday morning after a crash in Liverpool.
"I broke down. It didn't seem real. It still doesn't feel real," said Debra's aunt, Shelley Fleming.
Her family is trying to cope with the tragedy that happened just two days before Mother's Day.
"She was my best friend, she was my baby," said Debra's mother, Catherine Brown.
"There's no father in the world that can be more proud of a daughter than I am of mine. She's my golden girl," said Debra's father, Michael Brown.
The crash happened near the intersection of Braemar Drive and Grampian Road. A crash Debra's parent’s say took more from them than a daughter.
"Debbie was pregnant, 17 weeks pregnant. So I lost a daughter and a grandson," said Catherine.
Their first grandchild though, survived the crash. Debra's parents now plan to raise 17-month-old Isaiah themselves, and through him the family will hold on to a piece of Debra.
"Isaiah's a lot like her, a lot of spunk. He's got a lot of energy little boy. Big, beautiful, bright, blue eyes that my niece had. Identical," said Fleming.
Debra Brown's on again off again boyfriend, Mark Richter, 22, was driving the car at the time of the crash. There was also a 16-year-old passenger in the car.
Saturday morning Richter pleaded not guilty to charges of endangering the welfare of a child and unlawfully dealing with a child. That's on top of charges of vehicular manslaughter, felony DWI, speeding and other offenses.
He is expected back in court Monday.
