SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra has now officially filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy according to the U.S. Federal Bankruptcy Court.
The board of trustees voted to dissolve the symphony last month after accruing millions in debt over the years and several failed fundraisers.
Now the SSO must meet with creditors at the end of June to assess what they owe. More than 2,800 ticket holders are among those owed money.
